Hello, and welcome back! This page is for students registered with Student Accessibility Services (SAS). If you’re new to SAS, learn more about how to register.

Book a Follow-Up Appointment

Follow-up appointments are 45 minutes long. You can meet in person or virtually.

Instructions

You may want to book a follow-up if:

  • You’re having difficulties in your courses
  • You have questions about your accommodations
  • You missed a test and need to find out if you can do a make-up test
  • You want to discuss additional accommodations

Here’s how to book a follow-up appointment:

  1. Log in to MySAS Portal.
  2. Click “Appointments” in the menu on the left.
  3. Request a new appointment by completing the form.
  4. Choose “Follow-Up” or “Assistive Technologist & Learning Strategist” from the list of appointment types.
  5. Review and select a time. We recommend checking your calendar and timetable first. Appointments can be virtual or in person. Note: All appointments take place Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  6. Confirm your appointment.
  7. Tell us about the reason for your appointment in the pop-up.
  8. Click to confirm that you’re only booking one appointment and acknowledge the cancellation policy.
  9. Click “Submit Request.”

We’ll email you your appointment details. We recommend adding to your calendar and setting up reminders. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment. Read our appointment cancellation policy: Policies and Procedures.

Request Additional Accommodations

Instructions

You may want to request additional accommodations if:

  • You’re having difficulties in your courses
  • Your courseload has changed
  • Your medication or disability has changed

Here’s how to request additional accommodations:

  1. Log in to MySAS Portal.
  2. Click “Accommodation” in the menu on the left.
  3. Click “Request Additional Accommodations” in the menu.
  4. Click “Add New.”
  5. Complete the form by providing more information on your request. For example: How will it improve your ability to participate in your course? Is it related to a disability in your accommodation plan?
  6. Click save and submit your request.

Then, your program coordinator will review the request. They may request a follow-up appointment to learn more. We’ll notify your instructors if your request is approved.
